Updated to Alpha 7


Took some time but finally Alpha 7 is here :).

    ! Next dungeon section is available

    ! Implemented Traits that can be selected when starting a new game, there are 9 different traits (or 'random' can be selected if wanted) which offer various bonuses

    ! Implemented a starting bonus item feature called "Possession", there are 7 different bonus items to choose from (or 'random' can be selected if wanted) when creating a character

    ! Implemented 6 different traps, traps are hidden glyphs which trigger various effects when walked on

    ! Reworked difficulty from Easy/Normal/Hard to Standard/Hardcore/Path of the Lost. Hardcore mode has permadeath, Path of the Lost mode has also automapping disabled

    ! Dying without permadeath will automatically reload the last autosave

    ! For balance purposes Sanity is no longer increased by killing bosses but Sanity starts at 10 instead of 6

    ! Doubled XP numbers received and needed to level up for better balancing in the future

    * Injuries from critical hits can be resisted but are more harmful

    * Smoother required XP to level up increase curve

    * 20 new names for character name generation

    * Emma's area has one lantern oil available

    - Implemented a theoretical maximum character level of 30 to not cause theoretical crashes


    Items

    ! Reworked item quality into a durability system, durability lowers over time when using, but broken equipment will not be useless as durability gives a modifier from +3 to -3 to equipment

    ! New Scroll: Scroll of Reveal Traps, makes all traps visible

    ! Adjusted selling value of items to be 33% of their real value instead of 20% to compensate for equipment repair costs

    ! Increased the value of potions found as loot

    ! Lanterns display oil level estimate in their inventory description

    * Vial/Potion of Resistance dispels also existing status effects which can be resisted

    - Lore Notes are renamed into Notes or Diary Pages depending on the situation

    

    Shops

    ! Smith can repair equipment

    * Potion prices in the potion shop adjusted higher

    * Vials of Antidote, Poison, and Resistance added to the potion merchant


    Enemies

    ! Consumed Dreamers know the player's location when they spawn and will hunt the player

    * Slightly adjusted enemy stats for the bonus given by equipment stats at full durability

    * Sewage Amalgamation will not recast poison burst while the player is poisoned

    * Adjusted some boss XP values


    Lore

    ! Six new lore pieces, explaining further the story, divided throughout the dungeon one per dungeon section

    Options

    ! Resolutions shown are now in the highest supported Hz available

    * Rearranged Options screen


    UI

    ! If the game crashes, it will now display an error log with stack trace to help fix bugs

    ! Some message log texts have colors to differentiate them from each other. Can be disabled from the Options if wanted

    ! Map screen displays player's direction

    * Some changes to character creation UI

    * Added seed generation button to character creation

    * Small change to how Health, Willpower, Sanity, and Experience texts are displayed in the main UI

    * Player character is colored light blue in Map screen

    - Changing gender in character creation generates a name automatically

    - Minor UI alignment changes

    - Minor tweaking to transparencies of checkboxes, inventory slots etc.


    Technical

    * Upgraded from Unity 2022.1.15f1 to 2022.2.17f1

    * Fixed environmental textures having a slight glow, the colors are deeper now
