Updated to Beta 1


For the first time ever the game is now finishable so I changed the version from Alpha to Beta. However, this doesn't mean the game is finished featurewise so keep tuned for new mechanics etc. in the future :).

    Maps

    ! Added the final section of the main dungeon

    ! Guaranteed spawn of at least one potion per floor

    * Some changes to the hub area because of the stash room

    Items

    ! New Rune: Void Rune; can be applied only to Heresy Conduits and adds extra Mind modifier to Heresies

    ! New Rune: Faith Rune; can be applied only to Prayer Conduits and adds extra Mind modifier to Prayers

    * Potion/Vial of Clarity also cancels effects that alter sanity

    * Further spread out the loot tables to accommodate for the final area

    * Removed runes from the loot pool for balance reasons


    Spells

    * Debuff style spells cannot be blocked (like Seduction and Bloodletter)

    - Minor improvements to spell icons


    Shops

    ! New Merchant: Sells runes

    ! Spell shop begins to sell higher tier spells based on bosses killed

    * Metal Shards are now cheaper


    Enemies

    ! Final boss

    ! 4 new enemies

    * Some balance changes, generally into more difficult

    * Enemy sight increased by 1

    * Enemy HP has slight fluctuation now

    * Renamed Gazer to Watcher, and Stargazer to Gazer for a new variant enemy


    Journal

    ! Added more journal entries written by the player character automatically at certain events


    UI

    ! Improved UI look in many places

    ! Character screen displays the current seed, turns spent, and the amount of enemies killed

    * Esc can be used to close the shop menu

    * Changed the margins of UI components in different views so the UI is more symmetrical
